AWOL for a few weeks but back!

Have been very busy studying but have to come back after the incredible show at Dubai! Rory's fifth European Tour International victory after his stellar season had to be seen to be believed. 
Set a new season earning record, number one in both the PGA and European tours - won the US PGA Championship and on and on at the age of 23.
What a year for the now World's numer one.
Tremendous showing by all the top ten in Dubai - a wonderful, suspenseful weekend of golf.

Some payday!

Wow what a payday in Atlanta but SO well deserved. To keep focused and calm with that kind of pressure is beyond my comprehension.
I get "twitchy" with $5 on the line! Tremendous showing and a really well earned result.
Roll on next weekend - can't wait.

Rory at Boston!

Rory does it again - by the skin of his teeth!
The Honda Classic, the win by 8 shots in the PGA Championship and now the playoff in Boston.
He and Oosthuisen often looked like best friends playing together - nice to see.
Tiger looks to have loosened up a lot and his great effort and finish reflects that, I believe.
Rory is now No.1 in the FedEx Cup standings, No. 1 in the Official World Golf Rankings and No. 1 in the PGA Tour money list all at the same time - something only Luke Donald and Tiger (3 times) have accomplished in the past.
At only 23 years of age, looks like an incredible future in store for the young Irishman.

PGA Championship - thoughts!

Incredible performance by Rory! WHAT a final round and look at the company he is now in with that spectacular showing. This was the epitome of everything working at the same time.
I still wish a little less airtime was devoted to Tiger and more to some of the of the other great players of today and if I hear one more lame brain yell "in the hole" when Tiger tees off on a par 5, I'll be sorely tempted to throw something through the TV! Get a life and grow up PLEASE.

Jack Nichlaus won his second Major only one month younger than Rory and Tiger three months older.

With a swing and an overall game like his, who knows what Rory will accomplish in his career.

Only three U.S. players in the top ten - what is going on?

This season has been both amazing and exceptional in so many ways - looking forward to even more surprises in the Ryder Cup and the Playoffs.

Can Tiger really win five more Majors in the next five years? I really doubt it the way things are going for him.

Amazing finishes!

John Deere Classic.

Yet another gripping finish with a fight for the win between Zach Johnson and Troy Matteson.

A wonderful eagle putt at the 17th and a very cool par putt at the 18th by Matteson brought Johnson out again for a playoff after he looked to be a sure winner.

First playoff hole - the 18th again - saw both in the water and two double bogeys! Then a great shot from the fairway bunker landed Zach 12 inches from the hole - a shot that Troy was unable to match, securing the win for Zach.

Scottish Open.

Again, down to a playoff between Jeev Milkha Singh and Francesco Molinari. Marc Warren had a three shot lead with six holes to play but dropped four strokes in the final 4 holes leaving Singh and Molinari tied for the lead after 72. With the win on the first playoff hole, Singh will now play at THE OPEN this week and again be in the top 100 in the Official World Ranking.

GREAT final drama in both tournaments.
